THE JEWISH LAWYERS GUILD held
its Thirty-Third Annual Dinner on April 1, 2009. More than 1000 members of
the Bench and Bar as well as other friends and family were in attendance. The Hon. Martin Shulman, Justice, Supreme Court, New York County, Supervising Judge of the
Civil Court of the City of New York, New York County, was presented with
the Benjamin N. Cardozo Award, The Hon. Allen Hurkin-Torres, Justice, Supreme Court,
Kings County, was presented with the Golda Meir Memorial Award, and The Hon. Peter Tom, Associate Justice,
Appellate Division, 1st Department, was presented with the Louis
D. Brandeis award. Congratulations to three outstanding

THE JEWISH
LAWYERS GUILD held its Annual Chanukah Party & Toy Drive on December
17, 2008 at The
Synagogue For The Arts. Toys collected were distributed at the Pediatric Wards of NYU Medical
Center/Rusk Institute. The JLG extends a special thank you to Rabbi
Glass and The Synagogue For The Arts.
